Guinot Bas lies in the heart of "bastide country" in the Lot et Garonne department of south west France. The nearest towns are Marmande and Miramont de Guyenne, each being only 10 - 15 kms distance. Villeneuve sur Lot is only 30 minutes away and picturesque Eymet, in the Dordogne department only 20 minutes drive. The city of Bordeaux cries out to be explored. The motorway will take you there in about 1 1/2 hours whilst the excellent rail link from Marmande will whisk you there in luxury in a mere 35 minutes.
